Before you order
- My child's drawing is a scribble. Usually that turns out best. If what comes back does not look like what they drew, tell us and you get your money back.
- Do you need my child's real name? Only a first name, only so it can appear in the story, and only if you want it there. Leave it blank and the story says “the child”.
- Do I have to make an account? No. Meeting the character needs nothing at all. Ordering needs an email address so we have somewhere to send the files.
After you order
- How long does it take? The painted portrait arrives by email within about ten minutes. If it has not arrived in an hour, check your spam folder, then write to us.
- Where is my painting? The link in your receipt opens your order page, which shows the painting as soon as it is finished.
- It did not arrive. Write to us with the email address you ordered with. That is enough for us to find it.
What you can do with it
It is your child's character and you own it. Print it, frame it, put it on a birthday invitation, a t-shirt or a cake. The only thing we ask is that you do not resell the artwork itself as stock art. The full version is in our terms.
Refunds
Write to us and we refund it. You do not have to send anything back and you keep the files. No reason needed, though if the painting missed something we would genuinely like to know. Details on the refunds page.
Your child's photo
We use it to make your thing and nothing else. It is deleted after thirty days, automatically. We never post your child's art or name, we do not sell your data, and we do not train anything on your child's drawings. The long version is our privacy promise.
How the paintings are made
Using AI image tools, directed by a written description of your child's actual drawing. We say so plainly rather than implying a person painted it by hand. The full account is our AI policy.
What is not available yet
The printed hardcover and the plush toy are on the site but we cannot ship them yet, and they are labelled that way. The picture book we will make by request — reply to your receipt and ask. If you want one of the others, tell us: what people ask for decides what we build next.
Still stuck
One address, read by a person, answered within five working days and usually much sooner: [email protected]. If you are asking for a refund you do not need to wait for a reply to get one.
